TickTime Cube is a hexagonal physical timer that uses simple flip gestures to start preset countdowns. Each face of the cube represents a different time duration, allowing users to start a timer simply by rotating the cube to the desired face.
The cube contains six preset time durations on its faces (commonly 3, 5, 10, 25, 30, and 60 minutes). To start a timer, simply flip the cube so the desired duration faces up. The device uses gravity-sensing accelerometers to detect which face is active and automatically begins the countdown.
Unlike smartphone timer apps, TickTime Cube eliminates the temptation to check notifications or get distracted by other apps. The physical, single-purpose nature makes it ideal for maintaining focus during deep work sessions.
TickTime Cube retails for approximately $30-40 USD. Available through Amazon and the official TickTime website.
